âµ£ - Day 1 - Marrakesh - High  Atlas - Agdz
Your desert adventure begins with a pick-up from your riad or hotel in Marrakech by a local driver from Morocco Tribes, a trusted Moroccan travel company.
We will journey across the majestic High Atlas Mountains and stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous as a filming location for movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Alexander.
Our route then takes us to Ouarzazate, where you'll visit the Taourirt Kasbah and a local film studio.
We continue to the town of Agdz, where the scenic Draa Valley begins. Overnight stay in a traditional riad.

âµ£ - Day 2 - Agdz - Zagora - Tafraoute
In the morning, we’ll explore the historic Tamnougalt Kasbah.
We then travel deeper into the Draa Valley, a lush 200 km stretch of palm groves and earthen villages, arriving in Zagora - often called the gateway to the desert.
From there, the journey continues through desert landscapes, acacia trees, and mountain views until we reach the village of Tafraoute. Overnight stay our family owned DAR TIRHAL Guesthouse.

âµ£ - Day 3 - Tafraoute - Off-road to Merzouga
Today is all about desert immersion. We leave Tafraoute in the morning, heading off-road toward Merzouga, passing through several nomadic villages.
Our route takes us through dunes and rocky terrain until we arrive in Khamlia village, where we’ll visit a Gnaoua music house and enjoy some tea.
Later, we head into the golden dunes of Merzouga. Before arriving at the desert camp, you'll enjoy a camel ride and watch the sunset from the highest dunes of Erg Chebbi. Overnight stay in a desert camp.

âµ£ - Day 4 - Merzouga - Fes
Rise early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, followed by a refreshing shower and breakfast.
We then depart from the desert camp and begin our journey to Fes, Morocco’s historic and spiritual capital.
Along the way, we’ll pass through Errachidia (capital of the Draa-Tafilalet region), enjoy the views of the Ziz Gorges, and travel through the Tunnel of Zaabal — marking a shift in landscape.
We'll pass near Midelt and cross the Tizi N’talghamt Pass (also known as the Camel Pass) in the Middle Atlas Mountains.
After a lunch stop with traditional barbecue and mint tea in the village of Zaida, we continue toward Azrou, an Amazigh town known for its cedar forests. Here we’ll stop to feed the local Atlas monkeys.
Next, we pass through Ifrane — often called “Little Switzerland” for its European-style architecture and alpine atmosphere — where we'll pause for photos and a drink.
Approximately 30 minutes later, we reach Fes, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.
